How to apply?

 2. The selection exercise is done every 3 to 4 months and short listed candidates will be contacted.

The opening of APFT’s new hangar
NIKAZIZ.JPG APFT Chairman, Dato’ Faruk presents the Kelantan Menteri Besar with a token of appreciation after he officiated the opening of the new hangar and also pinned graduation wings on 63 cadets. The afternoon of 16th February 2009 marked the opening of APFT’s new hangar together with the graduation ceremony of batches 7,8,9,10.

New In Aviation Industry!!!

Cadet pilots from Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) will have, unlike other cadet pilots, the advantage of obtaining an academic diploma, in addition to pilot licenses on completion of their course.

A Diploma In Aviation (Pilot Training)
APFT is the only Flying Academy in Malaysia that offers a course of study for the Diploma in Aviation (Pilot Training). APFT combines the license flight training course with the approved diploma subjects for the aviation diploma course. This program is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) - ref. no. KN8739.

The Job Market
The Diploma in Aviation offered by APFT prepares the students not only to become commercial pilots but also to go into organizations related to the aviation industry.

The Edge
Cadet pilots, after pursuing their career as commercial pilots, have the choice of joining in the management position of organizations involved in aviation, and cadet pilots can now pursue further education at universities.

ICAO Aviation English Test

It is a licensing requirements that Airline Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers all over the world must demonstrate a proficiency of minimum level 4 in ICAO aviation English.

Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) is currently the only centre in Malaysia that offers the Aviation English Test that is ICAO compliant.

APFT uses the Jeppesen Aviation English Test, which is designed to assess the candidate's ability to understand and use the ICAO phraseologies as well as common English. The test structure is composed of 8 parts, conducted within 45 minutes.
